Minimalist interior for a Mediterranean villa
Residential interiors

The villa’s interior was designed with a minimalist look that doesn’t distract from the central visual element — the vast, seemingly boundless sea views framed within the panoramic windows. The cold colour palette was determined by the building’s architecture as well as the hot climate, while the linear purity alludes to the horizon. The potential austerity of the minimalist interior is avoided by the use of high-end finishing materials and various works of art placed in the rooms. Sitting on the edge of a precipice, the villa’s face overlooks the sea, while behind the building a spacious courtyard clad with Italian touchstone opens up. The sun-baked stone softly embraces millennial olive trees in the courtyard and as well as spilling into the house where the floors remain lukewarm.
